CARES ACT RESOURCES
The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act was passed by Congress and signed into law by President Trump on March 27th, 2020. This $2 trillion+ economic relief package provides fast and direct economic assistance for American workers, families, and small businesses, and preserve jobs for our American industries.

The CARES Act provides for Economic Impact Payments to American households of up to $1,200 per adult for individuals whose income was less than $99,000 ( or $198,000 for joint filers) and $500 per child under 17 years old – or up to $3,400 for a family of four.

On April 24, 2020, Governor Gavin Newsom announced the launch of a first-in-the-nation “Great Plates Delivered” program, a meal delivery service for California’s older adults.
Great Plates Delivered| Santa Clara County
The “Great Plates Delivered” program in Santa Clara County is being managed through partnerships with Sourcewise and World Central Kitchens (WCK). Sourcewise will perform the intake to qualify eligible participants, plan meals, and formulate and enter orders and WCK will provide restaurant activation, management, order management, and delivery coordination.
