Thanks for considering our offer to participate in the Farmers Market on The Alameda.

Here is some quick information regarding our market:

This market is in its third year. During its first year, it was managed by the California Farmers' Markets Association. Last year, management was handed over to a local organization, The Alameda Business Association.
On average, there are 15 vegetable, fruit, flowers and bread vendors present.

At the corner of Hanchett Ave. and The Alameda, 2 miles outside of downtown San Jose.
The market site is in a parking lot at the heart of the street's commercial district. Sidewalk cafes and small retail businesses bring much pedestrian traffic to the area.

The parking lot borders three of San Jose's most high-income, historic residential communities. People are vested in their homes and want to see the near-by commercial district thrive.
There is a team of 15 volunteers working in conjunction with The Alameda Business Association to manage and promote the market, demonstrating the high level of community involvement.

Live and recorded music playing each Saturday morning to enhance the market experience
The last Saturday of each month with feature a special Festival on The Alameda, intended to draw an even larger crowd to the area.

Magnets delivered to 5,000 near-by households with Market and Festival schedule listed.
Monthly postcard mailers to 5,000 households, schools and community organizations featuring a contest to raise money for their particular group upon presentation of the postcard at the market.
Mention in online and local newspaper listings of Farmers Markets
